Pre-School routine is as follows

7.30am – 8.15am Arrival & Greeting Time.

8.15am – 8.45am Breakfast Time.

8.45am – 9.00am News Time.

Children are encouraged to the develop language & social skills.

9.00am – 9.10am Planning Time.

Planning is an adult-child partnership. The child supplies the ideas and the adult provides the support to carry them out.

9.10am – 10.00am Work Time.

Work time is the time of day during which children carry out their intentions, play & solve problems.

10.00am – 10.15am Recall Time.

During recall time, children reflect on, talk about and exhibit what they have done at work time.

10.15am – 10.30am Snack Time.

Social Occasion where children learn skills eg., pouring.

10.30am – 10.45am Story Time.

10.45am – 11.00am Songs/Rhymes/Music.

11.00am – 11.30am Group Time (small)

An adult initiated learning experience based on children’s interests and development.

11.30am – 12.00am Outside Time.

Children are free to explore our extensive outside area.

12.00pm – 12.30pm. Lunch Time.

12.30pm – 1.00pm Table Work Time.

1.00pm – 2.00pm Rest Time.

Note; The routine will continue in the afternoon after sleep/rest time as the morning session above.
